Griffin Rolls Out New Power Accessories at CES 2013

Griffin Technology, one of the world’s foremost creators of innovations for everyday life, is showcasing its new power lineup at the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show. The lineup includes a solution for storing and charging up to five iPads simultaneously, as well as two new smart chargers for the home and car.
PowerDock 5 is the ultimate space-saving, countertop charging and storage solution for up to 5 iPads. Designed for convenience and efficiency, PowerDock 5 contains five charging bays large enough to accommodate an iPad encased in even the largest of cases, including Griffin’s own Survivor case. When not in use, PowerDock 5 keeps all the users’ device cables tucked away and organized, ready for use at any time. PowerDock 5, $99.99, is ideal for multiple-iPad households and work environments and will be available Spring 2013.
Griffin also introduces a solution to a little-known problem. All mobile devices have specific charging profiles that dictate how much, and how quickly, they can charge. Most chargers are designed with a one-size-fits-all approach which typically does not support the requirements of each individual device. Griffin’s new ChargeSensor technology senses the requirements of any device plugged into it, providing optimal charging for all USB-chargeable devices. Griffin introduces two new power solutions for Apple, Samsung, Android and Kindle devices, complete with Charge Sensor technology: PowerBlock Universal and PowerJolt Universal.
PowerBlock Universal with ChargeSensor features a low profile design for plugging into power strips and plugs. Plugged into any AC power source from 100 to 240 volts, PowerBlock converts it to safe, efficient 10 watt charging for smartphones, tablets, and e-readers.
PowerJolt Universal with ChargeSensor sports a low profile plug for the car’s 12 volt accessory outlet and a powerful 10 watt charging circuit to charge mobile devices quickly and safely. An LED power indicator glows to signal that the device is ready to charge, and its internal SmartFuse protects against power fluctuations as it charges with a built-incircuit breaker, and no fuses to replace.
Griffin’s new ChargeSensor PowerBlock, $29.99, and PowerJolt, $24.99, will be available Spring 2013. Griffin Technology’s 2013 line-up will be on display at CES 2013 in the LVCC North Hall, at Booth 5212.

The Future of Mobile Gadgets: Flexible Wrist Computer

Computers and other communication devices have become distinctly more mobile in the last decade, and there’s no sign that that trend will reverse anytime soon. We like being connected no matter where we are, so computers, cell phones and wireless networking gadgets will no doubt keep getting more portable and easier to use when we’re away from home.
That’s why this design makes sense. It was created by Hiromi Kiriki as the next generation of ultra-portable computers. The designer imagines it being a Sony product in 2020 – one that we’ll wear like a bracelet and carry everywhere.
The OLED screens would let the Sony Nextep roll up to conform to the shape of the wearer’s wrist. When in use, the computer folds out to expose its twin holographic projector screens and split pull-out keyboard. It’s designed to keep you connected to your social networking sites at all times, so you’re never more than a few folds and clicks away from your online network.
he Sony Nextep design might look super futuristic right now, but the technology needed to make a product like this into a reality isn’t really too far off. Before we know it, we might all be updating our Twitter feeds right from our wrists and leaving our phones in our pockets

 Latest Computer Technology
- Today the technology is getting today, is growing rapidly. Many technological innovations that originated from new, or modification of existing technologies. With the new technology, of course, humans are expected to perform activities more efficiently than ever before.
One of the ever-evolving technology of the era was Computer Technology. Computer technology at all times have the latest technology. Because computers are arguably biased items that are always updated. Okay, then what are the latest computer technology that bias we see now? Let’s check out below.
Computer table Hologram

PlayStation The New, Cheaper PSP Isn’t For You (Unless You’re A Kid!)

And if you’re a kid, you shouldn’t be reading this. You should be outside, getting some exercise. Making friends. Skipping rope.
Still with me? Awesome. So, Sony has a new model of the PSP for Europe that makes a lot of sense: it’s €99/£89 ($130), and at that price, it’s something you could pick up on an impulse when you go to the shops to buy some milk.
Except for the fact it doesn’t have Wi-Fi. Meaning this will mostly be used for singleplayer gaming only. That may be a problem for those of us old enough to drink and who like complaining about things anonymously on internet sites, but for teenagers and kids, Sony thinks it should be fine.
“You will see the audience skew younger,” Sony Computer Entertainment Europe’s Jim Ryan told website MCV. “At €99/£89 it will make a great Christmas gift. It’s a device to play UMD games. It’s all for the audience. If we are going to take PSP very young — teens and much younger — they are happy to just play the game. If taking Wi-Fi out is the price to pay, we’re happy to. The €99 price tag is a real barrier that we’ve got under which will help us lift off.”

The PS2 hung around for 3-4 years longer than it should have because of moves like this. Be a great achievement for Sony if the PSP could do the same, stick it out until 2014, the handheld’s 10th anniversary.
